How did you come to The Missourians:
I was sent a copy of a Facebook posting where the group was auditioning for a lead vocal position. I emailed them my demo and the rest is history.

Past Singing History:

The first time I sang on a stage I was 5 years old. I sang Do Lord at the Lewark Church of God. My mom encouraged me to participate in regional church and 4-H competitions, provided song selections and coached me with patience (even when I was being hard-headed). Growing up I also remember Sunday mornings before church, my Grandma Lois always had Gaither Homecoming on the TV and I started hearing and trying to match harmonies. Every chance I had I was sitting right next to her at the piano harmonizing and singing my heart out.

In recent years I have been involved with a multitude of area musical theatre productions and showcases, both onstage and off.

Interesting facts/stories about me:

  • I have a tender heart towards animals. In fact I have two wonderful little dogs at home, Coco and Sassy, and a special senior dog named Tucker who stays at our local animal shelter.
  • I currently work as a Zookeeper at Ralph Mitchell Zoo in Independence, Ks and I love it!
  • When I drive I may look like I’m yelling or screaming but I’m actually belting some Gaither Vocal Band song from their Reunited album.
